The Mike Nelson Team started 7 years ago in Longmont, CO and our name has become synonymous with success, earning multiple local awards and building a loyal following. The team joined Keller Williams Realty in 2013 and experienced explosive growth, leveraging the industry-leading systems.

Now, the Mike Nelson Team is spreading those successes to new markets through mega Agent expansion. We are family-owned and family-run. We take pride in treating all of our staff as if they are family.

I am a mountain climbing, SCUBA diving, real estate investing, Realtor from Boulder, Colorado! More in depth, I went to school at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, AZ. I graduated with a BS in Global Security and Intelligence Studies and can speak German and Arabic fairly well. Following graduation, I commissioned in the United States Marine Corps and spent 5 years moving around the country and literally circumnavigating the globe. At the end of my time commitment, I was discharged as a Captain and decided to move home. i have a smart wife who is a rocket scientist (literally) and a wonderful mother to our son. A rhodesian ridgeback who keeps me active, and a couple of token cats. During the warmer mornings, I can be found running around McIntosh Lake in NW Longmont. I love to travel, climb local 14ers, and take the family to our national parks. SCUBA diving is a favorite hobby in the tropics, and hitting the slopes with a pair of skis and a couple of friends is a favorite winter pass time.
